CSBD (NGO) is a non profit organization (Registration number:147-2004-2005) established for betterment of human society. It is a platform for young dynamic persons with scientific bent of mind. Here we use science at grass root level so that it reaches the masses. We also encourage scientists, researchers who are engaged in the study of biodiversity. An International Research Journal Halteres is also published by CSBD in collaboration with ANeT-India.
Broad objectives of the organization are:
1. To generate awareness among masses regarding the importance of natural ecosystems like Himalayas, Western Ghats, rain forests etc.
2. To plan conservative strategies by involving local people so that these ecosystems can be preserved.
3. To organize camps at the level of schools, colleges to generate enthusiasm among young and dynamic population for betterment of human society, pursuing involvement of scientists / researchers/ doctors/ engineers.
